BNV : অতীতে ঈশ্বরের লোকদের মধ্যে ভণ্ড ভাববাদীরা ছিল৷ একইভাবে তোমাদের দলের মধ্যে কিছু কিছু ভণ্ড শিক্ষক প্রবেশ করবে৷ তারা ভুল শিক্ষা দেবে; য়ে শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করলে লোকেদের সর্বনাশ হবে৷ সেই ভণ্ড শিক্ষকরা এমন কৌশলে তোমাদের শিক্ষা দেবে যাতে তারা য়ে ভ্রান্ত শিক্ষা দিচ্ছে এ তোমরা ধরতে পারবে না৷ তারা, এমন কি, প্রভু যিনি মুক্তি এনে দিয়েছেন তাঁকে পর্যন্ত অস্বীকার করবে৷ তাই তাদের নিজেদের ধ্বংস তারা সত্বর ডেকে আনবে৷
KJV : But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
YLT : And there did come also false prophets among the people, as also among you there shall be false teachers, who shall bring in besides destructive sects, and the Master who bought them denying, bringing to themselves quick destruction,

ERVEN : In the past there were false prophets among God's people. It is the same now. You will have some false teachers in your group. They will teach things that are wrong—ideas that will cause people to be lost. And they will teach in a way that will be hard for you to see that they are wrong. They will even refuse to follow the Master who bought their freedom. And so they will quickly destroy themselves.

BNV : তারা য়ে সমস্ত মন্দ বিষয়ে লিপ্ত, বহুলোক সেই বিষয়গুলিতে তাদের অনুসরণ করবে৷ ঐ লোকদের প্ররোচনায় বহুলোক সত্যের পথের বিষয়ে নিন্দা করবে৷
KJV : And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
YLT : and many shall follow out their destructive ways, because of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of,
RV : And many shall follow their lascivious doings; by reason of whom the way of the truth shall be evil spoken of.
RSV : And many will follow their licentiousness, and because of them the way of truth will be reviled.

ESV : And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.
ERVEN : Many people will follow them in the morally wrong things they do. And because of them, others will say bad things about the way of truth we follow.

BNV : এই ভণ্ড শিক্ষকরা তোমাদের কাছ থেকে কেবল অর্থলাভ করতে চাইবে৷ তাই তারা অসত্য কল্পিত কাহিনী বানিয়ে বলবে৷ অনেকদিন ধরেই ঐ ভণ্ড শিক্ষকদের জন্য শাস্তি অপেক্ষা করছে আর তারা ঈশ্বরের হাত এড়িয়ে য়েতে পারবে না; তিনি তাদের ধ্বংস করবেন৷
KJV : And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
YLT : and in covetousness, with moulded words, of you they shall make merchandise, whose judgment of old is not idle, and their destruction doth not slumber.

ERVEN : These false teachers only want your money. So they will use you by telling you things that are not true. But the judgment against these false teachers has been ready for a long time. And they will not escape God who will destroy them.

BNV : যাঁরা পাপ করেছিল সেই স্বর্গদূতদেরও ঈশ্বর ছাড়েন নি; তিনি তাদের নরকে পাঠিয়েছিলেন৷ ঈশ্বর বিচারের দিন পর্যন্ত অন্ধকারময় গ্ব্বরে তাদের ফেলে রাখলেন৷
KJV : For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
YLT : For if God messengers who sinned did not spare, but with chains of thick gloom, having cast [them] down to Tartarus, did deliver [them] to judgment, having been reserved,

BNV : ঈশ্বর প্রাচীন জগতকে ছেড়ে কথা বলেন নি৷ ঈশ্বরবিরোধী লোকদের জন্য ঈশ্বর জগতে জলপ্লাবন আনলেন৷ তিনি কেবলমাত্র নোহ এবং তার সঙ্গে অন্য সাতজনকে রক্ষা করেছিলেন৷ এই নোহ ঠিক পথে চলবার জন্য মানুষকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছিলেন৷

BNV : সদোম ও ঘমোরা নগরকে ঈশ্বর দণ্ডিত করেছিলেন৷ ঈশ্বর সেই দুটি নগরকে ধ্বংস করে যাঁরা তাঁর বিরোধিতা করে তাদের জন্য শেষ ফলের এক উদাহরণ হিসেবে তা স্থাপন করেছিলেন৷
KJV : And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
YLT : and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah having turned to ashes, with an overthrow did condemn, an example to those about to be impious having set [them];

BNV : ঐ ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত নগরী থেকে ঈশ্বর লোটকে উদ্ধার করেছিলেন৷ লোট ভাল লোক ছিলেন এবং ঐ নগরের দুষ্ট লোকদের অনৈতিক চালচলনে তিনি পীড়িত হতেন৷
KJV : And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
YLT : and righteous Lot, worn down by the conduct in lasciviousness of the impious, He did rescue,
RV : and delivered righteous Lot, sore distressed by the lascivious life of the wicked

BNV : সেই নীতিপরায়ণ মানুষ ঐ দুষ্ট লোকদের মধ্যে দিনের পর দিন বাস করতেন৷ তাঁর ধার্মিক আত্মা এই সকল লোকদের বেআইনী কাজকর্ম দেখে এবং এগুলির কথা শুনে যন্ত্রণা ভোগ করতেন৷
KJV : (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed [his] righteous soul from day to day with [their] unlawful deeds;)
YLT : for in seeing and hearing, the righteous man, dwelling among them, day by day the righteous soul with unlawful works was harassing.

BNV : হ্যাঁ, ঈশ্বরই এই সকল কার্য় সাধন করলেন৷ তাই প্রভু ঈশ্বর জানেন যাঁরা তাঁর সেবা করে, তাদের কিভাবে উদ্ধার করতে হয়৷ তিনি তাদের সমস্ত কষ্টের সময়ে তাদের উদ্ধার করেন৷ প্রভু এও জানেন কিভাবে দুষ্ট লোকদের সেই বিচারের দিনে শাস্তি দিতে হয়৷
KJV : The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
YLT : The Lord hath known to rescue pious ones out of temptation, and unrighteous ones to a day of judgment, being punished, to keep,
RV : the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment unto the day of judgment;

BNV : ঐ দণ্ড বিশেষভাবে তাদের জন্য, যাঁরা দুর্নীতিপরায়ণ ও কামাতুর, অধার্মিক স্বভাবের অনুসারী এবং যাঁরা প্রভুর কর্তৃত্ত্বকে সম্মান করে না৷এই সকল ভণ্ড শিক্ষকরা দুঃসাহসী ও একগুঁয়ে এবং মহিমান্বিত স্বর্গদূতের বিরুদ্ধে মন্দ কথা বলতে ভয় পায় না৷
KJV : But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous [are they,] selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
YLT : and chiefly those going behind the flesh in desire of uncleanness, and lordship despising; presumptuous, self-complacent, dignities they are not afraid to speak evil of,
RV : but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement, and despise dominion. Daring, selfwilled, they tremble not to rail at dignities:

ERVEN : That punishment is for those who are always doing the evil that their sinful selves want to do. It is for those who hate the Lord's authority. These false teachers do whatever they want, and they are so proud of themselves. They are not afraid even to say bad things against the glorious ones.

BNV : ঐ সব ভণ্ড শিক্ষকদের চেয়ে স্বর্গদূতরা শক্তিতে ও পরাক্রমে বড় হয়েও প্রভুর কাছে তাদের বিষয়ে কুত্‌সাজনক অভিযোগ আনেন না৷
KJV : Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
YLT : whereas messengers, in strength and power being greater, do not bear against them before the Lord an evil speaking judgment;

ERVEN : The angels are much stronger and more powerful than these beings. But even the angels don't accuse them and say bad things about them to the Lord.

BNV : এই ভণ্ড শিক্ষকরা বিচার বুদ্ধিহীন পশুর মতো, যাঁরা তাদের সহজাত প্রবৃত্তির বশে কাজ করে৷ এরা জন্মেছে ধরা পড়তে ও নিহত হবার জন্য৷ বন্য পশুদের মতোই এই শিক্ষকরা ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে৷
KJV : But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
YLT : and these, as irrational natural beasts, made to be caught and destroyed -- in what things they are ignorant of, speaking evil -- in their destruction shall be destroyed,
RV : But these, as creatures without reason, born mere animals to be taken and destroyed, railing in matters whereof they are ignorant, shall in their destroying surely be destroyed,
RSV : But these, like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and killed, reviling in matters of which they are ignorant, will be destroyed in the same destruction with them,

ERVEN : But these false teachers speak evil against what they don't understand. They are like animals that do things without really thinking—like wild animals that are born to be caught and killed. And, like wild animals, they will be destroyed.

BNV : এই ভণ্ড শিক্ষকরা বহুলোকের ক্ষতি করেছে, তাই তারাও কষ্টভোগ করবে, তাদের কুকাজের জন্য প্রাপ্তিস্বরূপ সেই হবে তাদের বেতন৷ এই ভণ্ড শিক্ষকরা প্রকাশ্যে মন্দ কাজ করতে ভালবাসে যাতে সমস্ত লোক তা দেখতে পায়৷ তারা তোমাদের মধ্যে নোংরা দাগ ও কলঙ্কের মত৷ য়েসব মন্দ কাজ তাদের খুশী করে, সেগুলি করে তারা তা উপভোগ করে৷ যখন তারা তোমাদের সঙ্গে পান ভোজন করে তখন তোমাদের পক্ষে তা লজ্জাজনক হয়৷
KJV : And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, [as] they that count it pleasure to riot in the daytime. Spots [they are] and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
YLT : about to receive a reward of unrighteousness, pleasures counting the luxury in the day, spots and blemishes, luxuriating in their deceits, feasting with you,

ERVEN : They have made many people suffer. So they themselves will suffer. That is their pay for what they have done. They think it is fun to do evil where everyone can see them. They enjoy the evil things that please them. So they are like dirty spots and stains among you— they bring shame to you in the meals you eat together.

BNV : কোন নারীকে দেখলে এই শিক্ষকরা তার প্রতি কামাসক্ত হয়৷ এরা এইভাবে পাপ করেই চলেছে৷ যাঁরা বিশ্বাসে দুর্বল তাদের তারা পাপের ফাঁদে ফেলে ফুসলিয়ে নিয়ে যায়৷ তাদের অন্তঃকরণ লোভে অভ্য়স্ত, তারা অভিশপ্ত৷
KJV : Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
YLT : having eyes full of adultery, and unable to cease from sin, enticing unstable souls, having an heart exercised in covetousnesses, children of a curse,
RV : having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; enticing unstedfast souls; having a heart exercised in covetousness; children of cursing;
RSV : They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!

ERVEN : Every time they look at a woman, they want her. They are always sinning this way. And they lead weaker people into the trap of sin. They have taught themselves well to be greedy. They are under a curse.

BNV : এই ভণ্ড শিক্ষকরা সোজা পথ ছেড়ে ভুল পথে ভ্রমণ করছে৷ তারা বিযোরের পুত্র বিলিয়মকে অনুসরণ করে, যিনি মন্দ কাজের পারিশ্রমিক পেলে আনন্দ পেতেন৷
KJV : Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
YLT : having forsaken a right way, they did go astray, having followed in the way of Balaam the [son] of Bosor, who a reward of unrighteousness did love,
RV : forsaking the right way, they went astray, having followed the way of Balaam the {cf15i son} of Beor, who loved the hire of wrong-doing;

ERVEN : These false teachers left the right way and went the wrong way. They followed the same way that the prophet Balaam went. He was the son of Beor, who loved being paid for doing wrong.

BNV : কিন্তু একটি গাধা বিলিয়মকে বলেছিল য়ে সে ভুল কাজ করেছে৷ গাধা পশু বলে কথা বলতে পারে না; কিন্তু এই গাধা মানুষের গলায় কথা বলে ভাববাদীকে মুর্খের মত কাজ করতে দেয় নি৷
KJV : But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
YLT : and had a rebuke of his own iniquity -- a dumb ass, in man`s voice having spoken, did forbid the madness of the prophet.

ERVEN : But a donkey told him that he was doing wrong. A donkey cannot talk, of course, but that donkey spoke with a man's voice and stopped the prophet from acting so crazy.

BNV : এই ভণ্ড শিক্ষকরা জলবিহীন ঝরণার মতো৷ ঝোড়ো হাওয়ায় বয়ে যাওয়া মেঘের মতো৷ এক ঘোর অন্ধকার কূপ এই ভণ্ড শিক্ষকদের জন্য সংরক্ষিত আছে৷
KJV : These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
YLT : These are wells without water, and clouds by a tempest driven, to whom the thick gloom of the darkness to the age hath been kept;
RV : These are springs without water, and mists driven by a storm; for whom the blackness of darkness hath been reserved.

ERVEN : These false teachers are like springs that have no water. They are like clouds that are blown by a storm. A place in the deepest darkness has been kept for them.

BNV : এরা শূন্যগর্ভ বড় বড় কথা বলে নিজেদের নিয়ে গর্ব করে৷ যাঁরা সম্প্রতি ভুল পথে চলা লোকদের সংসর্গ থেকে বেরিয়ে এসেছে তাদের দৈহিক আকর্ষণ ও বাসনায় প্রলুদ্ধ করে৷ এইসব লোকদের তারা পাপের ফাঁদে ফেলে৷
KJV : For when they speak great swelling [words] of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, [through much] wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
YLT : for overswellings of vanity speaking, they do entice in desires of the flesh -- lasciviousnesses, those who had truly escaped from those conducting themselves in error,
RV : For, uttering great swelling {cf15i words} of vanity, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by lasciviousness, those who are just escaping from them that live in error;
RSV : For, uttering loud boasts of folly, they entice with licentious passions of the flesh men who have barely escaped from those who live in error.

ERVEN : They boast with words that mean nothing. They lead people into the trap of sin. They find people who have just escaped from a wrong way of life and lead them back into sin. They do this by using the evil things people want to do in their human weakness.

BNV : যাঁরা আমাদের প্রভু ও ত্রাণকর্তা যীশু খ্রীষ্ট সম্পর্কে জ্ঞান লাভ করে সংসারের অশুচি বিষয়গুলি থেকে মুক্ত হয়েছিল, তারা যদি তাদের পুরানো পাপের জীবনে ফিরে যায় তবে তাদের পরের অবস্থা আগের অবস্থা থেকে আরো খারাপ হবে৷
